The messages were obtained while Mr. Nakano was heavily intoxicated and show cheerful conversations with the woman, exchanges suggesting a return visit, and contact after drinking.

<img decoding="async" width="1024" height="965" src="https://minnanounion.info/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/ajgho-1024x965.png" alt="" free to go out, meet people, and visit shops.
That is precisely why, when I heard the explanation that she "had been held captive," I felt a strong sense of incongruity.

Free actions that made it hard to believe they had been "confined"

I understand that confinement generally refers to a state inซึ่ง freedom is taken away against a person's will.

However, the Mr. Nakano I saw went out into the nightlife district, drank, talked with women, and acted according to his own schedule.
That appearance, at least to my eyes, did not look like the figure of a victim deprived of freedom.
If there was indeed a period of confinement, from when to when was it?
Was it a different period from the one we were looking at?

Or is there some other explanation for the free actions we were witnessing?

I think a clear explanation regarding this point is needed from Mr. Nakano himself and those involved.
I do not mean to unilaterally dismiss Mr. Nakano's arguments.
However, as someone who was actually there on the ground, I cannot simply leave the contradiction between what I saw and what I heard unresolved.

The discomfort and pressure the women felt

What I feel is the problem is not just the discrepancy with the "confinement" claim.

Around Mr. Nakano, multiple women said they had felt uncomfortable.
Making excessive noise while drinking, taking off clothes, invading women's personal space, and making remarks that suggest a desire for a mistress-like relationship.
There are multiple testimonies regarding such words and actions.

Some women felt they had experienced sexual harassment that was so painful they could hardly put it into words.

What is important here is that the women felt it was "unpleasant," "scary," and "difficult to refuse."

If the other person claims to be an influential corporate figure and talks about their assets and connections, it is all the more difficult to refuse them.

Differences in status, differences in nationality, economic differences, language barriers.

Amidst all of that, were women truly able to be treated as equals?

This point must be thoroughly verified.

Mr. Nakano, who used to talk about his assets, network of influential people, and lavish lifestyle

Mr. Nakano sometimes talked about his assets and personal connections in Cambodia.

He has a massive amount of cash and assets totaling 10.2 billion yen, is deeply involved with Last Mile Inc., a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market, has acquired substantial assets through insiders, has connections with influential corporate insiders, and also has ties with major Japanese politicians.

He was talking about that intention in front of me and several other people involved.

In addition, he also spoke as if he had a close relationship with the mega-magnate who is the parent company of Last One Mile Inc., and made remarks to the effect that he, too, would soon imitate him and live a life of extravagant luxury.

I am not in a position to verify the truth of that story.
Perhaps it was an exaggeration.

Or perhaps, to that person, it was a serious remark.
However, what is important is how the people who were told such stories felt.
If individuals claiming affiliation with Japanese companies acted in a way that leveraged their assets and connections, causing local women to feel pressured, then this cannot be dismissed merely as an issue of individual conduct.

How much did they know as a company, as an organization?
What kind of investigation was conducted after the problem occurred?
I need that explanation.

The issue is not about individual ways of playing, but about human rights and accountability.

We do not mean to make an issue of where Mr. Nakano drank or who he met with in itself.
The problem is the major discrepancy between the person later claiming to have been "held captive" and the freedom of movement we witnessed on-site.

Furthermore, it feels as though their voices are being trivialized, despite multiple women speaking about their discomfort and fear.

Because I am Cambodian.
Because I am a woman.
Because the other party is affiliated with a Japanese company.

For such reasons, there is no way anyone's dignity should be treated lightly.

We do not mean to blame the Japanese people.

I don't mean to criticize all Japanese companies.

I just want to say that the human rights of us who work and live abroad should be respected just as much.

What I want as a last-mile labor union member

As a member of the Last One Mile Labor Union, I would like to request an explanation and investigation regarding the following points.

I would like to ask Mr. Tamaki Nakano to clarify the specific time, location, and situation regarding his claims about "detention in Cambodia."

I would like you to explain the consistency between that claim and the freely observed outings, alcohol consumption, contact with women, and messaging activity on the ground.

I would like you to conduct a third-party investigation into the sexually harassing remarks and behavior, as well as statements demanding a mistress relationship, which are being alleged by multiple women. I want you to clarify the extent to which Last Mile Inc. and related companies were aware of Mr. Nakano's behavior abroad, and what actions were taken after the issue came to light.

This is not a text intended to unilaterally attack someone.

This is a piece of writing to record what I have seen, heard, and the sense of incongruity I felt, as a record for society.

What happened in Cambodia is not a small event in a distant country.
There, you find the power dynamics between Japanese companies and local people, the dignity of women, and human rights as workers.
That is why I am speaking out.

If Mr. Nakano's claim is true, I request a specific explanation of it.

On the other hand, if there are any points that contradict what we have seen and heard, we would like those to be clarified as well.

If you remain silent, it will be as if it never happened.

That is precisely why I wrote this text.

We, the Cambodian union members, also have human dignity.
Even for individuals associated with Japanese companies, treating their dignity lightly is unacceptable.

What is needed is not emotional conflict.
What is needed is a fact-based investigation and an honest explanation.

Last Mile Labor Union Home Page

[12

post-1014","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-lastonemileunion
["GET
